One-person demonstrations and the 49th peace/disarmament rally  urging the Ministry of Planning and Budget to reduce military spending

SPARK holds a series of daily one-person demonstrations in front of the MBP building from August 22 to August 29, calling for a cut in the military budget.

On August 30, SPARK holds the 49th peace/disarmament rally at the building of the MBP following last month's rally. Signs say, "Reduce the defense budget! Increase the welfare budget!"

After the rally, NGO representatives deliver an open letter with proposed budget changes to an officer of the MBP.
